Part 1 – The I AM

God reviled himself to Moses as I AM. In the Hebrew Bible I AM translates I will be. Think about that!  When God sent Moses to speak to Pharaoh and to lead his people out of Egypt, Moses did not feel qualified for the job.  Feeling a little insecure about what he was asked to do, Moses asked God this question; whom shall I say has sent me? God told Moses He would be with him and to say that I AM WHO I AM has sent me to you. God wants his children to know that HE IS and WILL BE whatever we need Him to be in our lives. Remember that God is your source and whatever He has asked you to accomplish in your life you can be confident that He will make a way for you! He is your I AM today just as He was for Moses.  God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM,” and he said, “You shall tell the children of Israel this: I AM has sent me to you.”Exodus 3:14

Jesus fed 5,000 men with two loaves of bread and five fish in John 6:9 and now a group of people were following Him, looking and asking for another miracle of  provision, they wanted more bread! Jesus reminded them that they were all working very hard for physical food that would nourish their body when they should  be looking for the spiritual food that came down from heaven in the form of Jesus. Just as we all need to eat food for our bodies each day our spirits need nourishment too!  Jesus Christ will satisfy all your spiritual needs! Feed your spirit the Word of God every day, it is the spiritual food that will satisfy your soul! It is in this context that Jesus replied, “I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE.” Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. John 6:35

The dictionary defines light as an understanding of a problem or mystery; a spiritual illumination of divine truth.  Jesus is able to shine light on any problem and give us divine truth that will set us on the right path!  We can walk in His Guiding Light and His Divine Truth every day!  John 8:12 says, “When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

John 10:7 So Jesus said to them again, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I AM THE DOOR OF THE SHEEP.

John 10:10 I AM THE GOOD SHEPHERD: the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep.

John 11:25 Jesus told her, “I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying.”

John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I AM THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. No one comes to the Father except through me.

John 15:1  “I AM THE TRUE VINE, and my Father is the gardener.

John 8:58 Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, before Abraham was even born, I AM!”

Part 2 – The Names of God in the Old Testament

El: God

Genesis 28:3 May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and increase your numbers until you become a community of peoples.

Elohim: God as Creator, Preserver, Mighty and Strong

Genesis 28:2-3 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and increase your numbers until you become a community of peoples.

El-Channun: The Gracious God

Jonah 4:2  And he prayed to the Lord and said, I pray You, O Lord, is not this just what I said when I was still in my country? You are in a season of doing My work publically and you have been working with due diligence. You have been honest, living your life transparently and you have been open to others about your spiritual beliefs. You have revealed yourself to many while you have been about “My business.”
I have given you an anointing and called you to minister to and pray for people that struggle with “spiritual immaturity”. I have given you a gifting to help others spiritually mature. I have placed, and I will continue to place many people within your life, for you to help and minister to. You will touch others lives in their innermost areas and I will help you “soften” and “sweeten” them. You will help people release and empty out all of the “man made” belief systems and thoughts that they have “stuffed” deep within their minds and hearts. I have called you to help people come out of their “shells”, “relax” and learn how to “loosen up”. You will help others to “rejuvenate” their bodies and minds. You will help people spiritually mature through Christ Jesus and experience a deeper level of My security, My peace, My support and My unconditional agape love!
You have been called to help people realize and achieve their destiny and true hearts desires!
There are others that you are still waiting for to join you in your work. They are “with you” but they are not working together with you “publicly” yet. Do not worry; there is a private matter that they have to address first and something that I have for them to accomplish before they can be released into working with you in your ministry publicly.
You have been working hard to show these other’s in your life kindness, courtesy, My blessings and the beauty and importance of worship. I am so pleased that you are willing to share your life with others and you share it WELL.
There is also a very specific relationship in your life that you have been working very hard at improving and you have been working at it alone for a while. This other person in your life has been more focused on “resting” and being “comfortable” than putting in the same effort as you.
This person is still focusing on and looking at “the past” and “past events” in their life. Their old “past” attitude is putting stress and pressure on you. This person has secretly had envy and jealousy about the spiritual position I have given you. You need to enter into My protection and My “secret place” because this other’s envy and jealousy has the potential to deeply hurt you. You have need for prayer.
As you continue on in My work and helping others, make sure you allocate your workload and do not try to do everything by yourself.
You are NOT alone; I have assigned angels and special co-laborers to help you in your job. The work I have for you will be a “piece of cake”! It will be easy for you, you can do ALL things though Me, stay in Me and I will continue to strengthen you! You were born to do this!
You are still getting used to accepting the recognition and rewards that you are getting for your work through Me. You are also still working on trying to feel comfortable in the “spotlight”.
I have just given you a NEW ability and anointing to maintain and organize your social life and activities.
Listen to Me when I tell you that your future will abound with My protection, My peace, My support and My agape love! You have been and will continue to greatly enjoy My presence and My gifts!

Prayer

“Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus and I thank you and I receive Your Word of knowledge. Thank you for guiding me with Your eye and showing me the way to go (Psalms 32:8)! I ask that Your Holy Spirit lead me today, to a deeper revelation of this Word in my life and I invite You to continue speaking to my heart right now revealing ALL that you would have me know.
Father God, I thank You for giving me greater wisdom, insight and instruction with All of the relationships in my life. I rebuke the spirit of laziness, past attitudes and mindsets, jealousy and envy from operating through me, or anyone in my right now life in Jesus Name! God I ask that Your love through me, will soften all hearts of jealousy and envy towards me. I declare Romans 2:4, that YOUR GOODNESS will bring repentance to all jealous and envious hearts in my life. In kindness Lord take those that would be against me firmly by Your hand and lead them into a radical life-change! I give glory to you God, and I declare that my enemies will become my friends and my allies!
I close every door to Satan in my life right now and I prohibit him access to my life, my property, my family, my friends and those that God has called me to minister to in Jesus Name! I call ALL sabotage and evil arrangements reversed in my life. I declare that every diabolical contract set up against me will be nullified. I agree with Isaiah 54:17 that No weapon formed against me will succeed and You God will vindicate me!

I declare Psalms 91 over my life right now, and I say that I dwell in the SECRET PLACE of the Most High, under Your shadow Almighty God I will rest and I will remain at peace! According to 1 Peter 5:7 I cast all of my cares and worries to you right now God; because YOU care for me!
I declare Philippians 1:6 and I thank you God, that YOU are faithfully finishing the good work that YOU STARTED in me and everyone that You have placed in my life. I receive All of the help You have for me today in my life and ministry to others. I also receive a new and higher way of organizing my time and social life activities through Your spirit of wisdom, which is inside me right now through Christ Jesus. Spirit of wisdom be stirred up inside me right now! Thank You God for helping me be in the right place at the right time; every time!
I agree with Isaiah 55:11 and say that the word that goes out of my mouth, will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
The Lord is pleased when I prosper! Now, Angels Go and Bless me!

But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.”

Part 1. The Seer Realm
Excerpts from James W. Goll’s book “The Seer 40 Day Devotional”

1 Samuel 9:9
Formerly in Israel, when a man went to inquire of God, he used to say, ‘Come, and let us go to the seer”; for he who is called a prophet now was formerly called a seer.

Within the overall realm of the prophet lies the particular and distinctive realm of the seer. The word seer describes a particular type of prophet who receives a particular type of prophetic revelation or impartation.

When it comes to prophetic revelation, a prophet is primarily an inspired hearer and then speaker while a seer is primarily visual. In other words, the prophet is the communicative dimension and the seer is the receptive dimension. Whereas nabiy’ emphasizes the active work of the prophet in speaking forth a message from God, ra’ah and chosen focus on the experience or means by which the prophet “sees or perceives” that message.

All true seers are prophets, but not all prophets are seers. A prophet may have the particular grace to hear and proclaim the word of the Lord and yet not necessarily function as profusely in the revelatory visionary capacity as a seer does. The seer, on the other hand, may move quite remarkably in this visionary dream capacity yet not be as deep in the inspirational audible graces of hearing and speaking. Nevertheless, both move and operate in the prophetic realm, but in different capacities or dimensions

The Diversity of Visionary States

1 Corinthians 12:11
“But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills.”

2 Corinthians 12:1
“Boasting is necessary, though it is not profitable; but I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord.”

1 Peter 1:13
“Therefore, gird your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”

There is only one Holy Spirit, but He works in a multiplicity of ways. There are many spiritual gifts, but only one gift-giver: the Holy Spirit of God. The prophetic anointing manifests itself in many diverse ways, but they all derive from the same Spirit.

This same diversity by the one Spirit applies also to visionary states and experiences. In fact, the New Testament uses a variety of Greek words to express different visionary states. None of these states are “higher” or “better” than any of the others. They are simply different, and the Holy Spirit uses them with different people for different purposes. Let’s take a closer look at some of these visionary states.

“Onar”

In Greek, onar is the common word for “dream.” It refers simply to the kind of dreaming we all do when we sleep. Everyday dreams are themselves visionary in nature because our minds generate images that we “see” while we are asleep. As the Bible makes clear, God can and does use these common dreams to communicate with ordinary people.

“Enupnion”

Like onar, the word enupnion refers to a vision or dream received while asleep. The difference with enupnion is that it stresses a surprise quality that is contained in that dream.

“Horama”

Horama is another general term for vision, meaning “that which is seen.” It carries the particular sense of a “spectacle, sight, or appearance.” New Testament examples commonly associate this word with waking visions. You can be a candidate for horama visions. Just tell the Lord of your desire to be a person who receives the spirit of revelation and sees visions. It is for today. It is there for the asking!

“Horasis”

An horasis occurs when the Spirit who lives within us looks out through the “windows” of our eyes and allows us to see what He sees. Sometimes we are seeing in the natural or in the spiritual and sometimes it is both. When our spiritual eyes are open, sometimes our natural eyes can see into the spiritual realm. We may see dual images as visionary spiritual pictures are superimposed over the images we are seeing with our physical eyes.

“Optasia”

Another visionary state found in the New Testament is denoted by the word optasia—literally meaning “visuality,” or in concrete form, “apparition.” Optasia has the very specific connotation of self-disclosure or of letting oneself be seen. The word always occurs in the context of someone seeing a divine or spiritual personage.

“Ekstasis”

Ekstasis, from which our English word “ecstasy” is derived, means amazement, astonishment, or a trance. Literally, ekstasis means “a displacement of the mind,” or “bewilderment.” When translated as “trance,” ekstasis refers to one being caught up in the Spirit so as to receive those revelations that God intends.

“Apokalupsis”

With apokalupsis, we come to the most frequently used word in the New Testament to describe a visionary state. Apokalupsis literally means “disclosure,” an “appearing” or “coming,” a “manifestation.” It carries specifically the sense of something hidden that has now been uncovered or revealed.

“Egenomehn ehn pneumati”

The phrase egenomehn ehn pneumati literally means “to become in the Spirit,” a state in which one could see visions and be informed or spoken directly to by the Spirit of God. Therein lies the secret to how we get revelation. We do it by first getting in the Spirit. The more we are filled with the Spirit and walk in the Spirit, the more we become one with the Spirit, and the more our eyes will be opened to see in the Spirit. He will give us the perception to look into the spiritual realm.

Part 2. False Prophecy or Human Error?

A false prophet is someone who claims to be a prophet of God but is not. One sign of a false prophet according to scripture is when someone who prophecies a thing which does not come true. But that is not the only type of false prophet. The bible states there are others who may make correct prophecies but do so without the authority or inspiration of Almighty God. These are also false prophets and are not to be listened to.

The bible tells us not to believe a prophet, even if that prophet shows supernatural ability, if that prophet leads you away from the Lord your God. Until the prophetic gift that the Lord gave me manifested, I didn’t understand how this was possible. How would a person have a supernatural gift if they were a false prophet?

The bible says that the gifts and the call are without repentance. This means, once given, God won’t take the gifts back. Therefore, if God gives me a genuine prophetic gift, so that I can know things before they happen, to discern the hearts of men, and to have revelation knowledge, the gift won’t go away even if I turn from a life of obedience to God. This means that someone who is a false prophet, was likely a genuine prophet at one time in their lives. Jim Jones, who became an infamous cult leader, many say was once a very gifted, genuine, prophet of God.

I believe that those who have the gift of foretelling the future and personal prophecy are kept on a very short leash by God. The ability to get into pride because of the nature of the prophetic gift of foretelling the future and personal prophecy is a very serious temptation. Many people will believe and trust a person with this gift because they are impressed by the gift and falsely assume someone trusted with this must be walking in integrity. Because of this, I believe we need to be well informed against the wiles of false prophets. Jesus said at the end times false prophets would be rampant upon the earth, which behooves us to be educated

The true test of a false prophet versus a true prophet who speaks a word that does not come to pass.

So that we make no mistake, this is Jesus’ instruction to identify false prophets:

Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.

You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles,
are they?

So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.

Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

So then, you will know them by their fruits. (Matthew 7:15-20)

Jesus said you will know them by their fruit, he said nothing about them making a mistake. As a person who often receives a message from the Lord I can tell you that occasionally my lack of ability to communicate well does not brand me a false prophet. There have been times that I’ve delivered the right message but my description could have been better or other times I had to use my own words to communicate the message that I had received from God but they were less than stellar because God gave me the inspiration but the words did not come verbatim.

A genuine prophet that makes a mistake will still consistently bear the fruit of the spirit in their lives. A false prophet will consistently bear actions that align with the world and with selfish motives. You will know whether to chalk a person up to one or the other by who they are in their every day life.

As I sought the Lord on this new revelation, I began my quest, to truly understand how I could be diligent with God’s word. I found that diligent comes from two Latin words, “diligere” which means: to esteem and love and “di legere” which means: to select. Diligence is characterized by a steady, earnest, and energetic effort.

Proverbs 8:17 says, (Amplified Bible) I love those who love me, and those who seek me early and diligently shall find me.
What a great promise; if we earnestly seek God and hold his word with esteem we will find Him! (The Contemporary English Bible) says it this way. God’s Spirit has shown you everything. His Spirit finds out everything, even what is deep in the mind of God.

So with a little diligence on our part we can access a full report from God on the gifts He has for us! We don’t have to rely on the world’s guesses and opinions. We don’t have to read books or go to school; we can hear from God, who will teach us directly through his word and the Holy Spirit. The bible says “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined the things that God has prepared for those who love him.” If we have our minds fixed on God’s Word with obedience, earnest effort, esteem and love as we apply it to our lives and daily circumstances we will be ready to help others to do the same! Deuteronomy 29:9 (The Message Bible) says: Diligently keep the words of this Covenant. Do what they say so that you will live well and wisely in every detail. Remember this promise: I love those who love me, and those who seek me early and diligently shall find me.

If you are ready to truly seek God with a new kind of energetic effort then join me in this prayer!

Heavenly Father, I come to you in Jesus’ name and choose today to be diligent with Your Word! I will diligently seek you, and desire to obey Your Word. Thank you for searching and examining all things concerning my life. I receive your insight and instruction so that I will live well and wisely. Amen

Then God showed me that, the reason these people felt lost is because much of the body of Christ is not awake nor are they operating the way He intended them to. They are self-centered, segregated and focused on the wrong things. There is a huge spiritual battle going on right now. His body is supposed to be waging war against the enemy, not sitting safely inside of a building, talking and discussing. The body of Christ may not be ready for war but the enemy is! The enemy has many camps all around the body of Christ right now, they are prepared for battle and they are armed and ready with their own weapons.
It is time to get up, prepare for action and arm your-self with the spiritual weapons of the Lord!
If the Body of Christ does not rise up and prepare for war, the enemy will take many unsuspecting Christians by surprise and cause much death, destruction and damage to the Body of Christ.

It is time to put on the entire armor of God!

A Fight to the Finish

Ephesians 6:10-17 (The Message)

10-12 And that about wraps it up. God is strong, and he wants you strong. So take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the Devil throws your way. This is no afternoon athletic contest that we’ll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his angels.
13-18 Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each others spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.

God is an exact standard of what is right and proper. He is full of sound judgment and reason. He established the law and is in harmony with the law. He is all that is original, correct, upright and good. He is not partial or biased, treating all equally. He shows a strict regard for what is morally correct. His justice is exact and precise, free from self-interest, prejudice or favoritism. He deals fairly with all concerned and His justice is always valid and objective. His justice is full of divine moral law.

The Word of God is full of examples of the His justice! If you are facing something in your life right now that seams unfair and unjust, then stand on these verses and know that the God of justice will stand for you!

Psalms 9:8
He will judge the world with justice and the nations with fairness

Psalms 36:6
Your justice is like the depths of the ocean

Psalms 103:6
The Lord gives righteousness and justice to all who are treated unfairly

Isaiah
61:8 For I, the Lord, love justice

Deuteronomy 16:20
Follow justice and justice alone, so that you may live and possess the land the LORD your God is giving you.

When you truly understand God’s justice then you can truly have more peace and a deeper sense of security and trust in God. God’s justice brings about a permanent change and you can be at peace knowing that God’s justice is THE solution to your problem and you can trust in Him to bring it to pass.

A prayer for Justice:
Father God I release the “care” of this “unjust” situation in my life to you right now in Jesus Name. I trust in You and I will follow justice and justice alone, so that I may live and posses the land that you are giving me! Thank you for loving justice and performing Your Word in my life! Amen!
